Little Miss Chloe makes my day everday, but today she really, really made it. I was doing dishes this morning (my lot in life), Chloe crawled over to me and pulled herself up by my pant leg and was kinda fussing. I looked down at her and smiled, but didn't pick her up. She fussed a little more and out of her little mouth came the word "Mommy". I couldn't believe it! I said it back to her and said it again "Mommy". We had to call Poppa and I gave it another try. I asked her to say "Mommy" to Poppa, and amazingly she did. So, it's official, I'm "Mommy".

Spring has Sprung

Its a Nay-Nay Day

Chloe has a new love, her babies. She has two baby dolls and she calls them Nay-Nay. We think she is trying to say baby. It is so cute, she holds them by their hands and talks to them and tells them stories. Doug tells her she is a good Momma. First thing this morning she was holding onto her balloon and her baby and quietly whispering, baaooon, nay-nay, baaoon, nay-nay. It was adorable.

Sundays are good for dancing

We spent last Sunday dancing at Mamaw and Pa's place. Doug had a ton of studying to do for his Sequel Server test, so we needed to let him be. By the way, he did pass on his test on Tuesday. Good job babe, we are proud of you as usual.

"These booties are made for walkin and thats just what they'll do"

Chloe took her first steps on her own two days ago. I told her to come to Momma, and SHE DID!!! I was so suprised that I screamed, it scared her, and she started crying :)

Baaa-oooon!!!

Mamaw got Chloe a few helium balloons a few days ago. She loves them. We were playing with them this morning and she said baaa-oooon. I actually got in on video, yeah!!! It is so cute. I will be downloading it later, it takes for-ev-er.
