Refreshing

Just about every time we go to Mamaw and Pa's house, Chloe wants to play in the shower.  I can't blame her. Their shower isn't just a shower, its an experience.  It is very refreshing with all the different shower heads spraying and the natural sunlight shining in. Chloe always plays for a long time, usually until the water runs cold.  I have wanted to get a photo of her in there for awhile, but either haven't had my camera with me or had my hands occupied with baby Hazel. Well, today I got my opportunity and I love this shot, especially with the colorful cups and bowls in the background.

Tutu-Painting-Palooza

Oh yeah! This was too much and fun with whole lot of clean up at the end :) It was worth every second of it too.  Brook and I have been talking about doing a tutu/painting photo shoot for awhile and Chloe and Lily are now old enough to make a huge mess and have a great time doing it! It will be neat to look back when these little gals are teenagers and reminisce about our tutu painting party.

Chat session with Hazel

Buggy-Boo

How lucky are we to have a good friend, who happens to be an awesome photographer?! We ventured down to Bloomington last weekend to hang out with our friends Brook, Corey, and Lily.  We decided we might as well get some pics of the girls while we are together.  Brook  brookrieman.com/blog took this adorable photo of Baby Hazel along with some others that are still in the "processing" phase :)  I will be posting those later.  We can hardly believe that our little bugaboo is able to sit up all by herself!

Warm and Fuzzy

Watching our girls together makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.  Chloe loves Hazel so much and I have mentioned in earlier posts how she wants to hug her all the time.  As time goes on, she wants to hug and kiss her more and more. I am right there with here, baby Hazel is our cuddle-bug.  Today Chloe asked if she could give Hazel a "giant hug" and then told me "I love her Mom". What she said next is one of the cutest things I have ever heard.  She said "When I see Hazel, it makes a rainbow in my head".  So sweet and adorable. I love these girls.

Another hilarious thing Chloe said today that I should blog.  We were messing around on the Ipad when she saw a donut. We don't have donuts around much or ever I guess. She got excited and said "Mom look, an ice cream bagel!"

Time is flying.

It seems like Hazel is growing and changing at a faster rate than Chloe ever did.  I suppose it is simply because life is much busier with two little kiddos.  Hazel is rolling over and sitting up in the high chair.  She is also starting to sit up on her own.  She is very happy and  smiles so intensely that she curls her whole body up. She now recognizes people she knows and squeals, kicks, and flaps her little arms when she sees her Poppa come in the door after a looooong day at work. We are having loads of fun with this little lady and it is wonderful to fall in love all over again.
