All about Uncle Leves
Levi, Chloe, and I hung out today while Mom, Pop, and Doug did some work up North. We had a really nice time making halloween cupcakes, surfing youtube, and hanging with the babe. Chloe was all about Levi today. She has not been too sure about him up until this point, but today she decided they could be buds. It was pretty cute. she kept a close eye on him all day, totally enthralled with whatever he was doing. We missed our Poppa today, but it was great to spend some time with Levi.

- "Just Hangin Out"-

We had a lot of fun today. First of all, Pa took today off work and hung out with us all day. We spent the entire day working on butterfly and dragonfly mobiles for some special little friends who are turning three years old this weekend! Amazingly, mom and I managed to start and finish the whole project today. We worked on it nonstop, well, except for nursing sessions, playing sessions, cuddling sessions, diaper sessions, and napping sessions until about nine o'clock this evening. So needless to say we are pooped. Pa got to spend some precious playtime with Chloe and they did a little singing and dancing, well a lot of singing and dancing. It is days like this that we cherish, working on art projects, singing and dancing with the baby, and "just hangin out". I will post some pics tommorow, I am toooo tired tonite :)

PA-LIDAY WORLD!!!!!
Chloe had her first ride in Pa's famous maypole swing today! She actually really liked it. Of course we were pretty conservative on the pushes, but by next summer I am sure she will be touching the sky! We can only imagine all the fun she is gonna have on Pa's inventions.

We just love this pic of Chloe in her Jumparoo. We have had it for about a month now, but she is just now starting to really get into it. She does'nt quite jump yet, but this week she learned to spin the lizard!!! She was pretty excited about that, as were we.
Brook and Chloe
Chef Lex and Chloe the Lobster along with Becca as Betty Rubble and 5 week old Jackson Duke

The CUUUTEST Lobster I have ever seen and a pretty Darn Cute Chef!!!!!

We had an awesome time at Brook and Corey's halloween bash. Obviously Doug and I were chefs and Chloe was a lobster. Mom and I made this costume this week. It was pretty interesting, because her sewing maching pooped out about three inches into it. So we hand sewed the ENTIRE thing. We love it!!! Chloe was a doll baby as usual. She must have thought I looked hilarious, every time she looked at me she would crack up!!!! Halloween has always been my fav, it is especially fun dressing up our little one. Oh yeah, we won best group costume!!!!!

We went to a birthday party on Saturday in Martinsville. Doug F. is an old friend and highschool classmate of my Mom's. He has a restored 1980 (I think) Caddy, so Mom and Pop made him this clock out of a caddy hubcap complete with LED lights!! He was thrilled to say the least!!!

Here are some pics from Doug F. and Alicia's place on Saturday. It was absolutely beautiful outside and a great time to capture some good shots.

Chloe in her first dress up outfit!!! We went to a wedding on Friday night and we were looking pretty spiffy, if I might say so myself.

O.K, accomplishing beading is a little different when you have a baby!!! We did manage to make these two necklaces and bracelet. Mamaw played with Chloe and I beaded for awhile and I nursed Chloe and Mamaw beaded, so it worked out just fine. The necklace on top is for a good friend's birthday and the one on the bottom is a keeper.

Chloe is almost four months old and is now recognizing people, besides just her Poppa and Momma. She especially likes Mamaw. She nuzzles her little face against Mamaw and lays her head gently on her shoulder. I can tell she feels comfortable and secure there. Mamaw loves on her nearly everyday while I exercise for an hour or so. Today she came over for lunch and helped us sort through Chloe's clothes. She is growing out of everything quicker than she can wear it!!! It is so great to spend time with Mom and see her enjoying her little granddaughter. She is my best friend and I am so excited to have Chloe join us. We now have a trio!!! Watch out world!!
On another note, Chloe is learning to talk on the phone! We call Poppa, Pa, and Uncle Levi at work and she gets so excited and starts kicking and flapping her little arms. She coos and laughs. Wow, I just cannot believe how quick she is growing and changing.
Carly-girl
It has been a year since our beloved Curly passed away. She was a truly awesome dog. Anyone who knew us, knew that we took our girl everywhere with us. She was a probably too smart for her own good. I remember the first time I took her to dog obedience. She literally made me drag her around the store. By the end of the class she was jumping through hoops and going up and down the teeter-totter like nobody's business. She was awarded with most improved in her class. I decided to continue on with the intermediate and advanced dog training classes. I always joked that my dog was "highly educated". I taught to her give itty bitty kisses, because I am not too fond of being licked in the face by a dog, so she would just give a tiny kiss. We learned so much together and grew closer, as we learned to trust eachother. Her given name was Carly, but she quickly acquired the name Curly, because she was always curling her fat body all around, especially when there was a tasty treat she wanted. We would tell her to make a cheerio and she knew that meant to curl her nose around to her little tail. Levi's name for her was Turkey burger, not sure why, but it kinda fit her for some reason. Curly started getting sick with leukemia around September last year, and before we knew she was really bad. Doug was in Las Vegas for work and she was getting worse by the day. I had to make one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. I had to let my girl go. She was suffering and I just could'nt let her live that way. As soon as they administered the sedative, I wanted to turn back and let her live just another day, but I knew I had to let her go. Our Carly was a wonderful companion and there will never be another like her. She had the silkiest coat and spunkiest personality. She was only five years old. We are grateful that we had five years with her. She was so much fun and taught us how much you can love a pet. Ironically, the next morning I discovered I was pregnant with Chloe!!!!!

Chloe and her Poppy on Sunday morn

Chef Chloe
Sunday morning we made breakfast for Poppy. He needed a little extra rest, so Chloe helped Momma. She has recently figured out that she has hands!!! She is grabbing stuff and of course everything goes directly to her mouth. She also has started cooing a lot. We have had soooo much fun with this. She makes the most adorable noises, especially when she yawns. She is trying to roll over, but we think she has a while till she actually makes over to her belly. Chloe is quite the little flirt with the guys. We can hardly make through a store without her charming a few gentlemen!!!! Watch out fellas!!! We had a really nice weekend hanging with our little bundle of joy. We didn't do anything too spectacular, but regular life anymore is just wonderful. We have decided that everything is so much more fun when we have our little Chloe with us.
