Carter, Griffin, and Chloe camped out for the first time with Mamaw and Pa. They swam all day, roasted marshmallows around the bonfire, caught fireflies, enjoyed a late-night swim, and then finally passed out in the tent. Griffin curled up next to Pa and Chloe next to Mamaw while Carter told "Once upon a time, a long, long time ago stories". He was way too excited to sleep.
Chloe is the official "cocoa butter applier". She is not a happy camper if she discovers I put it on without her.
Good luck getting any corn for yourself if Chloe is around. This kid loves corn on the cob. She ate 2 1/2 ears!

This night in the tent was a riot! We got just a few chiggers, but it was well worth it - got to hear the owls hootin' and saw the bats flying overhead, not to mention a great bonfire built by Pa and Ira. Also, me and Pa got lots of hugs and snuggles during the night by three love bugs! We awoke to the dog right outside the tent, cats all around, and the roosters crowing - can't get any better than that! Mawmaw and Pa
